Vice-Chancellor Distributes Laptops to Girl Students under Women in Engineering Initiative

In a significant step towards promoting inclusivity and supporting the academic aspirations of girl students in engineering, the J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, organized a Laptop Facilitation Ceremony under the Women in Engineering (WiE) initiative. The program, titled “Empowering Women Engineers”, was conducted by IEEE YMCA Student Branch in collaboration with Shikshana Foundation and Hitachi Energy, with support from IEEE Delhi Section PES-IAS and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Delhi Section. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rajive Kumar, distributed laptops to seven meritorious girl students from engineering backgrounds to support their academic journey. A high-level Industry-Academia Dialogue was held during the two-day National Conference on “Media, Society and Public Discourse in the Digital Age” organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. The session focused on bridging the gap between media education and industry requirements, with strong emphasis on shifting from theory-heavy to practice-oriented learning. Vice-Chancellors of several universities, senior journalists, and corporate communication leaders participated in the candid and productive discussion. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA organized a one-day HR Conclave on campus. The event brought together leading HR professionals from reputed organizations to deliberate on emerging industry trends, talent expectations, and the evolving job landscape. The valedictory ceremony of the two-day national conference 'Media, Society and Public Discourse in the Digital Age', organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, was graced by the dignified presence of Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Devi Lal University Sirsa; Prof. K.G. National Conference mesmerizes audience with Kavi Sammelan during Cultural Evening at J.C. Bose University

The first day of two-day National Conference on “Media, Society and Public Discourse in the Digital Age” organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, concluded with a Cultural Evening. The evening began with a soulful Ganesh Vandana dance performance by media student Eklavya Malik. The programme was graced by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar and Registrar Prof. Ajay Ranga. Chairperson of the Department Prof. Pawan Singh extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and guests. The cultural programme left the audience spellbound with three outstanding performances. The Niramayam Club presented a mesmerizing  Musical Yoga  performance showcasing perfect balance, grace and harmony that left everyone awestruck.
