Vice Chancellor interacted with NCC Cadets of Army and Naval Wings at J.C. Bose University

Continuing his proactive engagement with the student community, Prof. Rajive Kumar, Vice Chancellor of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, held an interactive session with the NCC cadets from both the Army and Naval wings of the University.
 

The meeting was attended by Dr. O.P. Mishra, Incharge, University Centre for NCC; SLt (Dr.) Krishan Kumar, Associate NCC Officer (Navy); and Lt (Dr.) Mahesh Chand, Associate NCC Officer (Army).

 

Dr. O.P. Mishra extended a warm welcome to the Vice Chancellor and presented a detailed briefing on the recent accomplishments of the University's NCC cadets. He highlighted the prestigious selection of two cadets from the University who participated in the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, representing the institution with pride on the national stage. He also shared details about other cadets' involvement in various prestigious international and national-level NCC camps, camps, and competitions, showcasing the growing stature of the University's NCC programme.

 

Expressing his appreciation, Prof. Rajive Kumar congratulated the selected cadets for their outstanding individual and team achievements. He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to all NCC officers, associate officers, and support staff for their dedicated efforts in nurturing discipline, patriotism, and leadership among the youth.

 

The Vice Chancellor encouraged the cadets to openly share their experiences, challenges, suggestions, and any concerns they may have, particularly related to essential facilities and institutional support.

 

In response to the feedback and requirements raised during the interaction, Prof. Rajive Kumar assured prompt action to address key issues, including provision of dedicated space for cadets' belongings, establishment of an indoor shooting range on campus, and enhancement of other necessary supporting infrastructure to further strengthen the NCC activities.

The session underscored the University's commitment to holistic student development, fostering national pride, and providing an enabling environment for cadets to excel in their endeavours.
