J.C. Bose University releases 2026 Calendar; Emphasizing Innovation, Sustainability, and Inclusivity

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, proudly released its official Calendar for the year 2026 today.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar unveiled the calendar during a ceremony at the University campus. Prof. Rajive Kumar appreciated the design, stating that it perfectly aligns with the University's core values of innovation, excellence, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Members of the Annual Publication Committee – Prof. Munish Vashishath, Prof. Atul Mishra, and Prof. Pawan Singh – were present during the unveiling. The concept and design of the calendar have been meticulously crafted by the Public Relations Office of the University.

The 2026 calendar prominently features a photograph of the University's winning team, "Caffein Overflow," from the Smart India Hackathon 2025, highlighting their victory and the institution's student-centric focus on fostering skill development and innovation.

In line with established protocol, the calendar showcases photographs of the Hon'ble President, Prime Minister, Chief Minister, and Governor of Haryana. It also includes a thoughtful sketch of the legendary scientist Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, after whom the University is named, paying homage to his pioneering contributions to science.

Also, the calendar introduces the iconic Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) wheel logo, symbolizing the University's strong commitment to the United Nations' global agenda for sustainable development. Logos of key flagship programs of the Central Government focused on youth empowerment have also been incorporated, reflecting alignment with national priorities.

All holidays as notified by the Haryana Government have been duly marked, ensuring practical utility for students, faculty, and staff.

This thoughtfully designed calendar not only serves as a functional tool but also embodies the University's steadfast dedication to innovation, gender inclusivity in STEM, sustainability, and excellence in science and technology education.
