The Internal Complaints Committee (Women’s Cell) of J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad , successfully observed “Sexual Harassment Prevention Week” through a series of impactful awareness programmes. During the week, students were sensitised on key provisions and support mechanisms related to sexual harassment prevention. These included the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013; the Women Helpline; the One Stop Centre for assisting women in distress; and the recently launched SHe-Box – a nationwide centralised digital platform by the Ministry of Women and Child Development for registering and monitoring complaints of sexual harassment.
