Vice-Chancellor Distributes Laptops to Girl Students under Women in Engineering Initiative
In a significant step towards promoting inclusivity and supporting the academic aspirations of girl students in engineering, the J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, organized a Laptop Facilitation Ceremony under the Women in Engineering (WiE) initiative. The program, titled “Empowering Women Engineers”, was conducted by IEEE YMCA Student Branch in collaboration with Shikshana Foundation and Hitachi Energy, with support from IEEE Delhi Section PES-IAS and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Delhi Section. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rajive Kumar, distributed laptops to seven meritorious girl students from engineering backgrounds to support their academic journey. The beneficiaries from J.C. Bose University include Mehak Panchal, Nikita Verma, Payal, Simran, and Soniya Kumari, all pursuing B.Tech (Electrical Engineering).
