Vice-Chancellor Distributes Laptops to Girl Students under Women in Engineering Initiative

In a significant step towards promoting inclusivity and supporting the academic aspirations of girl students in engineering, the J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, organized a Laptop Facilitation Ceremony under the Women in Engineering (WiE) initiative. The program, titled “Empowering Women Engineers”, was conducted by IEEE YMCA Student Branch in collaboration with Shikshana Foundation and Hitachi Energy, with support from IEEE Delhi Section PES-IAS and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Delhi Section. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rajive Kumar, distributed laptops to seven meritorious girl students from engineering backgrounds to support their academic journey. A high-level Industry-Academia Dialogue was held during the two-day National Conference on “Media, Society and Public Discourse in the Digital Age” organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. The valedictory ceremony of the two-day national conference 'Media, Society and Public Discourse in the Digital Age', organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, J.C. The first day of two-day National Conference on “Media, Society and Public Discourse in the Digital Age” organized by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, concluded with a Cultural Evening. The evening began with a soulful Ganesh Vandana dance performance by media student Eklavya Malik. The programme was graced by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar and Registrar Prof. Ajay Ranga. Chairperson of the Department Prof. Pawan Singh extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and guests. The J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervour and gaiety. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Rajive Kumar unfurled the Tri-colour in the University premises. The Vice-Chancellor also took the salute at an impressive march-past presented by the Security Officials, NCC Cadets, and NSS volunteers of the University and addressed the gathering. Earlier, Prof. Kumar paid tributes to the martyrs at the War Heroes Gallery in the University.   To keep alive the flame of patriotism, a bouquet of cultural programs was also presented by the students of different clubs.
